Part 2 - We'll depart from a different entrance & explore a different part of Conestee's storied past!
"Those who don't know history are doomed to repeat it." - Edmund Burke
Ok, this hike is not that serious. But, we still think it's great to learn where we've been and how we got here!
Haven't you ever wondered what this CNP property looked like 100 years ago? Or what it was used for? Maybe you've been curious to learn more about the Reedy River, the dam and mills, and the storied pollution that occurred as a result of that industrialization? Join our staff to learn all you want to know and more!
You'll leave this program with a better appreciation for the early development of Greenville, as well as the unique ecological resource that Conestee Nature Preserve now provides to both wildlife, and this community.
