Mountain Biking Basics
Mountain Biking Basics
Need help?
Have you been eyeing our mountain biking trails and wishing you could get a run down on how to actually use them? We've got just the event for you!
Join internationally certified mountain bike coach, Sam Smith (not the singer but a very cool gal), for a mountain biking basics class. She'll teach you how and when to properly brake, what suspension does for you, and bike/body separation as you utilize skills draws, fencing pickets, and cone runways set up in Henderson meadow. Sam will also teach proper bike maintenance because what good is a bike if it doesn't work the way it should?
Sam is a National Interscholastic Cycling Coach, so you will finish class feeling very prepared for the trails ahead!
*Geared for Beginners-Ages 16 and up
