How many times have you walked at Conestee and never seen an eastern box turtle? Have you ever wondered how wildlife biologists find and track the animals they're studying? Find out all about one of the coolest methods, telemetry, from Hannah Meredith, a Wildlife and Fisheries Biology student at Clemson. We'll learn how she's using telemetry to study eastern box turtles and even get to work with a group to track down a turtle's shell! That sneaky turtle's got nothing on you!

We will meet at our Fork Shoals Entrance at 601 Fork Shoals Rd. We'll gather by the kiosk at the gravel parking lot (D on our Map).
