Ever consider using a walking stick while you're out hiking? Even better, have you ever considered hand-crafting your walking stick, using natural and locally sourced wood?! This workshop will allow you to do just that!
Longtime Conestee Nature Preserve supporter and volunteer, Dennis DeFrancesco, will guide your carving efforts, as you create a walking stick that is unique to you. You'll choose from a selection of previously harvested tree saplings that are perfectly suited to be transformed into a functional and personalized walking stick.
