Conestee Crafting - Solar Art

We may be biased, but there is no better inspiration for creativity and art than the natural world around us. And in a place like Conestee Nature Preserve, the opportunities for inspiration are limitless!

Join us as we create unique prints using solar print paper. We'll start with a brief walk on the trails, hunting for natural objects that inspire us and then we'll use our findings to make a masterpiece. We may even learn something along the way about the items we find!

WHO

All ages are welcome!

WHERE

This program will start at our 601 Fork Shoals trailhead. Please watch your inbox for an email with further instructions that we will send to participants in the days leading up to the hike.

WHEN

Please plan to arrive by 8:45 a.m. so that the hike can depart promptly at 9.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

This event will take place entirely outside in open air, with distancing possible in most situations.

Please do not attend the event if you are feeling ill. In the event of such cancellations, we are happy to issue a refund.

WEATHER

If the weather is not cooperative, we will attempt to re-schedule this program, before outright cancelling.
