Join renowned biologist and artist, Melissa Fuentes, as she uncovers the wonders and mysteries of wildlife left behind by bones and other artifacts. Melissa is the Curator of the the Bob & Betsy Campbell Museum of Natural History at Clemson University. Her captivating knowledge will guide us through the lives of animals from their anatomy and adaptations as she highlights pieces of her collection from the museum. WHO
All are welcome. Most appropriate for families and adults. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This is not a child drop-off program. Participants will be seated under the Shortleaf Shelter and given the opportunity to investigate artifacts up close.
WHERE/PARKING
Parking is available at the Meadow entrance at 601 Fork Shoals Rd. Greenville, SC 29605. This is NOT the baseball field side of the Preserve. The program will be held in the Shortleaf Shelter, just a short distance from the parking area. Accessible parking available upon request.
WHEN
The program will begin at 11:00am in Shortleaf Shelter.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
This event will take place entirely outside in open air, with distancing possible in most situations.
Please do not attend if you are feeling ill.
