Wetlands play an important part to both the history of the Conestee Nature Preserve and it's future! Did you know that the Preserve encompasses several wetland types from vernal pools, to rivers, lakes, and more. Come explore these different ecosystems and the wildlife that call them home.
WHO
Most appropriate for families, scouts, and adults. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This is not a child drop-off program. Participants will be traveling over paved and un-paved trails in uneven surfaces for roughly 2 miles.
WHERE/PARKING
We will be starting at the River entrance of the Preserve, also known as the E2 trailhead. Parking is available in the county recreation park directly next to the trailhead entrance. 840 Mauldin Rd. Greenville, SC 29605.
WHEN
We will have a brief orientation beginning at 1:00pm before setting on the path.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
This event will take place entirely outside in open air, with distancing possible in most situations.
Please do not attend if you are feeling ill.
WEATHER
If the weather is not cooperative, we will communicate by e-mail should we need to cancel.
