Homeschool Days at Conestee Nature Preserve is open to children ages 5-11 years old. You will drop your child off with us to spend the day exploring and learning about the natural resources found at CNP.
In September we will focus on ways that plant and animal adaptations. Each group will explore for unique plants and critters and get an up close view of the parts of their bodies that help them survive in their environment. Afterward, the younger students will focus on beavers and all the ways they help our ecosystem thrive through their behaviors. The older students will do a field experiment to determine the best home ranges for certain reptiles that call CNP home.
We are limiting the teaching groups to 20 students. You will provide your children's ages in the Google Registration form linked below. We will form the groups based on ages.
