Paint a Bear Workshop
Join us for a free family art session and paint your own plaster bear.
Thursday 2 July, 12.00-14.00 - Congleton Museum
Friday 3 July, 12.00-13.00 - Orso Lounge
Children will paint two bears: one to take home and one to become part of a new bear trail around Congleton.
The workshop is inspired by Our Disappearing Nature, Congleton Museum's new summer programme exploring how local wildlife and landscapes have changed over the last 100 years. The story follows a bear who has just woken up after a century-long sleep and is trying to discover what has changed in the world around him.
The session will be led by a Bossons factory painter, sharing skills from one of Congleton's most famous creative traditions.
Suitable for children aged 5+. Free entry. Donations welcome. Places are limited and booking is essential.
