Paper Flowers for Pollinators
Join us for a free family craft session at Congleton Museum and make your own colourful paper flowers.
20 August, 11.00-12.00 / 1.30-2.30 pm
Children will use crepe paper, card and craft materials to create flowers with stems, petals and colourful details. They will also discover why flowers are important for bees, butterflies and other pollinators.
The workshop is inspired by Our Disappearing Nature, Congleton Museum's new summer programme exploring how local wildlife and landscapes have changed over the last 100 years. The activity introduces children to the different colours and shapes of flowers and the important role they play in supporting local wildlife.
This workshop is part of Nature Thursdays at Congleton Museum. Alongside the workshops, families can explore the Our Disappearing Nature exhibition, with self-guided trails and activities throughout the museum.
Entry and workshops are free of charge. Donations are welcome, with a suggested donation of £3 per child.
Suitable for children aged 5+.
