Description
CONNECT THROUGH RHYTHM!
Join us for another exploration of sounds and rhythms within a warm, safe, creative and non-judgemental environment. No experience necessary.
All musical instruments provided. You can bring your own if you want to.
From small intimate circles to bigger ones, Drum Circles are a great opportunity to let go of any expectations from yourself and others and dive in deeply into sound and rhythm exploration while paying attention to what you and others are doing, in deep listening and deep respect and honouring of what is occurring at present and what it may turn into! Last time we went into a very cool and calming 12/8 groove without thinking about it! Sometimes there is chaos but it is part of the process and there is always a way to come out of that :)
About the facilitator:
Elizabeth Nott has been facilitating Drum Circles for almost 2 years as an ongoing search for ways to building platforms where people can connect to themselves and others in different creative ways. She has learnt and been guided by the most amazing Drum Circle facilitators in UK including Paul John Dear and Jane Bentley, and Arthur Hull from US (Founder of Village Music Circles).
She is a professional musician with emphasis on Middle Eastern Percussion and performances around UK and abroad. She has also been teaching ME percussion for over 13 years on a one to one and group basis. Her interest in the power of Sound and Energy for balancing and healing draw her to studying Reiki to a Master level and Sound Healing. She currently works on these practices mainly on a one to one basis from home studio, occasionally giving group sessions through her Seeds of Sound workshops, in which the sessions are a combination of movement, vocal sounds and drumming. Check her website for more information about her work as a musician, teacher and Sound Healing Practice. www.elizabethnott.co.uk
