Studium Generale - Parade Noorderlicht (NL & ENG)

Parade Noorderlicht: Adem mee

Parade Noorderlicht: Breathe Along

Walk with us and marvel

We all share something essential: the air we breathe. That is why “Breathe Along” is the starting point of the 10th edition of Noorderlicht. Noorderlicht is a socio-cultural arts project that brings together local residents, performers, artists, schools, and students in Antwerp North (2060).

On Thursday, November 26, we will celebrate that shared air through art in the neighborhood, a festive parade, and opportunities for meaningful connection.

Everyone is welcome at the Atheneum at 6:00 PM, from where we will set off together to Coninckplein. There, you can enjoy a variety of performances and installations at your own pace. At 9:00 PM, we will follow the sounds of connection and make our way to the Old Bathhouse (Oude Badhuis) for a cozy neighborhood celebration.

We have also thought of the youngest participants: a children’s parade will begin at 6:15 PM.

Expect a diverse and surprising evening in which young artists, local residents, and organizations come together to present a vibrant mix of visual arts, music, dance, theatre, and more.

Volunteers Wanted! (Optional for Studium Generale students)

Many helping hands are needed to make the evening run smoothly. We are still looking for volunteers to assist with catering, guiding visitors and the parade, setting up, taking down equipment, and more. Interested and available? Send an email to noorderlicht@ap.be.
