Compassion Focussed Coaching (CFC) is a peer-reviewed, manualised and evidence-based group supervision model. This training offer is for practitioners delivering supervision in education, to provide the knowledge, skills and supervision they need to offer CFC to their schools.

CFC is shown to:

  • Increase resilience
  • Increase ability to understand complex student behaviour
  • Increase the ability to give/receive compassion

CFC training is useful if you:

  • Want to offer consistent and high quality reflective spaces to educators.
  • Are developing your “experts at hand” offer to provide systemic support to schools.
  • Support schools to cultivate employee wellbeing and retention.
  • Care deeply about leadership systems and processes.
  • Want to use a supervision model which was developed with over 50 senior leaders in schools, nationwide.

  • Two days of specialist training with time built in between sessions to apply techniques.
  • A supervision manual to guide practice.
  • Six sessions of supervision, to support fidelity and provide ongoing CPD.

About your host:

Dr Jo Taylor is a Child & Educational Psychologist and Director of Constellations Psychology. He is pioneering the use of compassion focused approaches in EP practice and regularly consults, trains and speaks on the topic. He is an Honorary Lecturer at University of Manchester, Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and is currently completing a Churchill Fellowship into compassion as a facilitator of caregiving.
