Navigating Conflict: 3 part series
Navigating Conflict: 3 part series

Conflict is inevitable. Disconnection, harm, and avoidance don't have to be.
Most of us were never taught how to handle conflict. So we avoid the hard conversation, send the carefully worded email, or replay the moment for days. Meanwhile, the tension stays, and the relationship pays for it.
Navigating Conflict is a 3-part virtual conflict resolution series that teaches you how to navigate hard moments with clarity, empathy, and integrity, whether that conflict lives at work, in community, or at home.
This series is for you if you are:
A people manager tired of mediating the same tension over and over. An HR or People leader who wants better tools than "let's set up a meeting." A community leader holding space for others while navigating your own hard dynamics. A professional who wants to stop avoiding and start repairing.
What you'll walk away with:
Practical, same-day tools for naming tension before it becomes rupture. Language for hard conversations that keeps relationships intact. A repair framework you can use at work and at home. Deeper self-awareness about your own conflict patterns and triggers.
The sessions
Each class builds on the one before it, and each stands strong on its own. Join one, or join all three.
Session 1: Understanding Yourself in Conflict
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2026 | 10AM PT / 1PM ET | 75 MINUTES
Get to the root of your conflict style and triggers. Unpack how your identity, values, and life experiences shape your responses to tension, and learn to bring more clarity and choice into hard moments.
You'll leave able to: identify your default conflict style and personal triggers; reflect on how identity and socialization shape your responses; and clarify the values at stake when tension rises.
Session 2: Practicing Empathy in Real Time
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 2026 | 10AM PT / 1PM ET | 75 MINUTES
Learn how to stay grounded and engaged when things get heated. This session focuses on communication strategies that center empathy while holding boundaries and staying regulated.
You'll leave able to: practice empathy-based listening and communication; recognize what blocks empathy in conflict; and stay regulated while setting boundaries in the moment.
Session 3: Repair and Resolution with Care
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 2026 | 10AM PT / 1PM ET | 75 MINUTES
Explore how to initiate repair, rebuild trust, and move toward resolution, even when there's no easy fix. We'll work through accountability, intention versus impact, and trauma-informed approaches to conflict.
You'll leave able to: understand the difference between repair, resolution, and restoration; practice language for taking accountability and repairing harm; and apply trauma-informed approaches to conflict and care.
