Do Less, On Purpose: A Q1 Reset

A 2-hour virtual class and guided co-working session. Learn a prioritization framework that actually holds, then leave with your Q1 priorities on paper and one thing officially off your plate.

Choose the time that works for you (same class, three options):

  • Tuesday, January 5, 3:00 to 5:00pm PT
  • Wednesday, January 6, 9:00 to 11:00am PT
  • Friday, January 8, 12:00 to 2:00pm PT

Full event description:

It's January. Everyone around you is adding. New goals, new habits, new commitments stacked on top of everything you were already carrying in December.

This class does the opposite.

Let's be real, the problem isn't your work ethic. It's that no one ever taught you how to prioritize, and more importantly, how to deprioritize.

When everything is a priority, nothing is. Ten priorities is no priorities. Energy gets spread thin. Projects stall halfway. Teams lose confidence in the direction. And the leaders who care the most end up carrying the most, until caring quietly turns into burnout.

Do Less, On Purpose is a 2-hour working session built for exactly this moment: the start of a new year, before your calendar fills itself. This is your window to decide what actually deserves your energy in Q1, before everyone else's requests decide for you.

Hour 1: Learn the LESS framework.

List it. Examine it. Stress test it. Subtract it.

You'll learn the difference between what's urgent, what's important, and what's actually a priority (they are not the same thing, and conflating them is costing you). Urgent is a feeling. Important is a value. A priority is a decision, and you get three at a time, max. You'll also get a set of pressure-test questions to run anything through before it earns a spot on your plate: what would actually break if this waited, or didn't happen at all?

Hour 2: Do the work, together.

This isn't a webinar you'll forget by Friday, and it isn't a talk-heavy breakout marathon either. Hour two is guided, low-stimulus co-working in timed blocks. I tell you what to work on and for how long. You write, reflect, and build your plan while everyone else does the same. Cameras optional. Honest lists only: the plate you actually have, not the plate you admit to.

You'll complete your own Q1 plan: your top priorities to start the year focused, your parking lot for later, and the one thing you're taking off your plate, including the exact words you'll use to deprioritize it. Because letting go isn't quitting. Letting go is a leadership skill, and it takes real language to do it well.

You'll leave with:

  • A completed, personal priority plan for Q1
  • A repeatable framework you can run at the end of any day, week, or quarter
  • One thing officially deprioritized (yes, really)
  • The exact words to communicate it, so it sticks past next week

This is for you if you're:

  • A leader in a nonprofit, government agency, or HR role staring down a full year
  • The person everyone brings things to, and your plate shows it
  • Ready to start the year focused instead of frantic
  • A founder or consultant whose business depends on your energy, and there's none left over.

You'll get a participant guide before class. Bring something to write with and your honest brain. That's it.
📝 Includes pre-class assessment, guided workbook, and co-working session

Your next Quarter doesn't have to feel like your last. Do less. On purpose.
