Asian Art in a Precarious World
A CCC-CVAA Forum
(Contemporary China Centre, University of Westminster; Contemporary Visual Arts Asia, Birmingham City University)*
Asian Art in a Precarious World brings together artists, museum professionals, curators and scholars for two panel discussions exploring the conditions shaping contemporary Asian art. The forum examines artistic practices, institutional perspectives and exchange across various cultural contexts amid economic uncertainty and geopolitical tensions. It considers how artists and institutions are responding to these shifting circumstances, and how Asian art is defined, presented and interpreted within increasingly complex international frameworks.
Registration: The event is free to attend and open to all but tickets are limited; please register via Ticket Tailor before Monday October 12.
