At the heart of an organisation’s response to operations and incidents is often a Control Room. Event Managers and Control Room personnel need to be capable and effective in managing information, prioritising and taking decisions then communicating the plan. Control Rooms often bring together a number of different disciplines for a short duration and with little collective experience together of incidents which can make it challenging to operate as a cohesive and practised team.
Managers and staff who have practical experience and supporting knowledge and skills can enable the Control Room to work more effectively and to reduce the operational and reputational impact of incidents. You’ll complete this course possessing relevant knowledge and skills to confidently be able to design and operate in a control room environment that supports effective Command, Control and Communications (C3).
We have harnessed our passion and knowledge of efficient and effective Control Room Management into a two-day, fully immersive Control Room Operations Management Course.
Our course will provide you with the right knowledge and opportunity to develop skills with a simulation exercise and with workbook resources to develop and embed improved procedures in your Control Room. The course is led by experienced event professionals who have extensive incident management and control room experience across UK and Global events.
