DISCIPLE WEEKEND 2026

2–4 October 2026 | Norton Summit, Adelaide Hills

As followers of Jesus, we are called to make His last command our first commission.

In Matthew 28, Jesus told His followers to go, make disciples, baptise them and teach them to obey everything He commanded.

The Disciple Weekend is a relational gathering for people who want to live this out.

Our vision is to see a growing movement of everyday disciple makers across Australia — people finding those who are spiritually open, sharing Jesus, opening Scripture together, making disciples and helping those disciples make disciples.

This weekend is about keeping disciple making simple, relational and reproducible.

We gather so we can scatter.

WHO IS THE WEEKEND FOR?

Existing Disciple Makers

If you are already discipling people, leading Discovery Bible Studies or actively looking for people of peace, the weekend is an opportunity to connect with others doing the same.

Share stories, celebrate what God is doing, learn from one another, work through challenges and be encouraged to keep going.

Those Learning to Become Disciple Makers

If you have been part of Disciple School, Harvest training or another discipleship journey, the weekend will help connect what you have learned with the practical call to make disciples.

Meet people who are actively doing it, practise together and catch a bigger vision for multiplication.

Those Newer to Disciple Making

You don't need to already know all the language or tools.

The weekend will help anchor some of the simple foundations of disciple making, including:

  • Finding and recognising a Person of Peace
  • Discovery Bible Study
  • Sharing Jesus through everyday Life Conversations
  • Reaching your oikos — the people God has already placed around you
  • Moving from one-to-one discipleship towards gathering others
  • Helping disciples become disciple makers
  • Simple multiplication

WHAT TO EXPECT

This won't be a heavily programmed conference.

Expect a simple weekend built around relationships, Scripture, practice, stories and encouragement.

Throughout the weekend there will be opportunities for:

  • Discovery Bible Study together
  • Practical disciple-making conversations
  • Learning how to recognise and find people of peace
  • Introducing the Life Conversations Quadrant as a simple tool for everyday spiritual conversations
  • Stories from people actively making disciples
  • Celebrating people coming to Jesus, being baptised and beginning to disciple others
  • Conversations about what is working and where disciple makers are getting stuck
  • Exploring how disciples become disciple makers
  • Learning to gather people and disciple through oikos
  • Exploring multiplication and raising up new disciple makers
  • Vision for simple local disciple-making communities and ACTS Accelerators
  • Prayer and encouragement
  • Plenty of meals, coffee and informal conversations
  • Walks through the beautiful Adelaide Hills
  • Space to connect with other disciple makers from around Australia

The focus will continually come back to some very simple questions:

Who has God placed around you?

Who is your person of peace?

Who are you discipling?

Who could they begin discipling?

STORIES & COMMUNITY

One of the most valuable parts of the weekend will simply be hearing from one another.

There will be space around meals and the fire to share:

  • What God has been doing
  • People of peace you have met
  • Discovery Bible Studies that have started
  • Breakthroughs and baptisms
  • Challenges you are working through
  • Lessons you have learned
  • Stories of disciples beginning to make disciples

We want people to leave knowing they are part of a wider community of people across Australia who are seeking to obey Jesus and make disciples.
