Bringing together British and Ukrainian music, culture and tradition in support of Convoy4Ukraine
Kupala Midsummer Celebration for Ukraine
A unique British-Ukrainian midsummer charity event in Cambridge.
Join us for a special summer evening of music, tradition, food and community, bringing together Ukrainian and British culture in support of Convoy4Ukraine.
All proceeds from ticket sales, together with direct donations and partner contributions, will support the charity’s next humanitarian convoy to Ukraine at the end of June.
Set in the beautiful surroundings of St Giles’ Church and garden, this celebration is inspired by the ancient Ukrainian festival of Kupala - a joyful midsummer tradition rooted in nature, music, dancing and community connection.
The evening will begin with Ukrainian live music, songs and traditional dancing, followed by lively British ceilidh celebration led by The Cyriacs, and will finish with the symbolic Kupala garden ritual.
Event highlights:
• Live music by The Cyriacs and Ukrainian performers
• Traditional Ukrainian music, songs and dancing
• British ceilidh dancing for everyone
• Symbolic Kupala garden ritual
• Food and drinks
• Artisan market and crafts
• Family-friendly activities
• Music from DJ Tery
Come celebrate midsummer, experience cultural collaboration, and stand with Ukraine.
