Join us for a very special Christmas evening in Wootton.

Two days before Christmas, we’ll gather together around the village Christmas tree for carols, before heading into the warmth of Wootton Village Hall for a generous seasonal supper prepared by Gregg and his CookSchool team.

Then, after supper, our live band takes over for an evening of music, dancing and Christmas celebration.

This isn't a formal Christmas dinner or party. It's something altogether more relaxed — a chance for friends, families, neighbours and the wider community to come together, eat well and enjoy a great night just before Christmas.

THE EVENING

6.30pm Carols around the tree

Wrap up warm and join us outside as we begin the evening together with carols around the Christmas tree with a warm drink and nibbles.

7.00pm Winter supper

After the carols, we'll head into Wootton Village Hall for a generous supper prepared by Gregg and the CookSchool team.

Roasted red pepper & walnut muhammara · silky hummus with crispy chickpeas · whipped feta with hot honey & thyme · roasted squash with tahini, pomegranate & toasted seeds · marinated olives & winter pickles · warm flatbreads

Hot poached Scottish salmon fillet

Pork belly, apple and cider sauce

Roast sprouts with smoked bacon and nuts

Crispy duck fat roast potatoes rosemary, garlic, smoked Malden

A selection of seasonal salads

Pudding selection from the buffet table 

Banoffee pavlova with butterscotch and spiced pears

Apple & cinnamon crumbles, custard

Approx 8.30pm after supper, our live band takes over. The tables are cleared, the music goes up and the rest of the evening is ours to enjoy.

Carols around the tree with a complimentary glass of mulled wine (courtesy of the village PCC) and nibbles
Three course buffet style supper
Live band and entertainment

*Drinks will be available to purchase during the evening.
