Hark! The Herald: Tour of the College of Arms

Description
Embark on an exclusive journey through history with our guided tour, starting at 6:30pm. This unique experience covers the Earl Marshal’s Court, usually open to the public during weekdays; the Waiting Room, accessible by special request; and the rarely seen Record Room. Here, you'll have the rare opportunity to view a representative selection of historic manuscripts that chronicle the College's rich history and work from the late Middle Ages to the contemporary era.
The Richmond Herald, Clive Cheeseman, will lead the tour, sharing insights into the building's history, the surrounding area, the esteemed profession of heraldry, and the modern-day functions of the College. The tour, designed to accommodate up to twenty guests, lasts approximately an hour and a half, offering an intimate glimpse into the heraldic tradition.
The evening will include light refreshments and buffet supper, allowing for further discussion and interaction with the guiding officer.
The event concludes by 9:00pm, with the College closing to visitors by 9:30pm.

A transaction fee of 3% will be charged at check out in addition to the ticket price. This is to cover the cost of our new and improved ticketing system making it easier than ever to book and pay for your Society events.
