Screening of The Roof of Africa: Bullied - The Mountain We Face

Marking the start of Anti-Bullying Week

Monday 16th November

Lecture Hall, Coram Campus, 41 Brunswick Square, London WC1N 1AZ

5pm - 7pm

In January 2026, 27 extraordinary individuals took on the challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to mark Coram Kidscape’s 40th anniversary as the first anti-bullying charity and to raise vital funds to support children and families affected by bullying.

Celebrity hairstylist Andrew Barton and adventurer Josh Braid both faced bullying growing up. The Roof of Africa: Bullied - The Mountain We Face brings their two journeys together, connecting the mountain they each faced in their past with the one they now choose to climb.

Join us at the home of Coram Kidscape, for this special screening as we come together to reflect on the journey, hear the stories behind it and continue the conversation about how we can create safer, kinder environments for children and young people.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with ambassadors Andrew Barton and Josh Braid who took on the climb of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Today, Coram Kidscape is the longest serving anti-bullying charity in England and Wales, who provide direct, practical support to thousands of children and young people experiencing bullying, their parents and carers, and the professionals who support them, combining prevention, early intervention and targeted help where it is most needed.
