Next of Kin: A Portrait of Adoptive Families by Richard Ansett

Next of Kin: A Portrait of Adoptive Families by Richard Ansett
Monday 19 October 2026
5:00pm–6:30pm
QEII, Coram Campus, WC1N 1AZ

Drawing on his own experience of adoption, Richard has created a series of intimate portraits that explore the deeply personal stories of those he considers his ‘tribe’.

For this project, Richard has worked with some of the families and children we support. Travelling across the country, he has captured a collection of thoughtful and deeply personal portraits which reflect the experiences and stories at the heart of adoption.

The series has been created as a gift to Coram to commemorate this significant centenary and to support our ongoing adoption recruitment programme.

Alcohol, soft drinks and light refreshments will be served throughout the event.
