Description

The First Admissions of children to the Foundling Hospital took place 280 years ago on the 25th March. Join us to mark this landmark moment in the history of Care with this online event.

Social Historian Carol Harris will look at how the first children to be cared for entered the Foundling Hospital, and what their reception meant for them and for their mothers.

Brigid Robinson, will look at the present day and the question of stigma facing care experienced children in and leaving care and we are delighted to be joined by our care experienced Young Ambassadors who have been challenging stigma through films, poems, and podcasts.
