The conference will explore the issues surrounding Foetal Alcohol Syndrome affecting potential EP placements following the recently published Nice Guidance on the subject of FAS. Speakers will look at both the current medical understanding of this condition and how to prepare and support prospective EP carers. 

There will be presentations from Dr Katayoon Afsharpad, Specialist Doctor in Community Paediatrics, Medical Advisor to Adoption & Fostering Panel East Sussex on FASD and preparing EP Carers and from Aislinn Cooper, Post Adoption Social Worker in the Coram RAA on supporting EP carers.

The basic membership fee is £200 pa, for one professional to attend all three conferences. Additional annual membership places can be purchased at £150 per additional member for the year. Alternatively, agencies may purchase additional places for individual conferences for £50 per place.
