Join us for a wine tasting hosted by Beatrice Schiavio, Brand Ambassador for Marchesi di Barolo. Born and raised on Lake Como, Beatrice first encountered Nebbiolo in the steep vineyards of Valtellina. That early connection inspired her to study viticulture and oenology and eventually brought her to Piedmont, where she now shares her passion for the grape and the wines it produces.
Beatrice will guide guests through a selection of Marchesi di Barolo wines, sharing the stories behind the winery, the Abbona family, and the region’s winemaking traditions. Whether you already love Barolo or are discovering it for the first time, this is an opportunity to taste the wines with someone who knows the region and loves bringing it to life.

Marchesi Maraia Barbera 22 Parking: Due to limited spacing, we ask that you please do not park in the lot directly in front of Corkdorks’ store. Instead, you are welcome to park in either the lot beside the Corkdorks front lot, or in any open spot on the street. These parking options are free for attendees. Thank you for your cooperation. All attendees will receive a $20 gift card to Corkdorks. We do not charge a fee to attend or participate in any of our classroom events. However, because of the tremendous demand for our events, and because seating in our classroom is limited, we charge a nominal prepaid reservation fee to hold your place in the classroom. The amount of the reservation fee varies depending on the size, duration, and content of the event, but is non-refundable if you are unable to attend the event for any reason. If you prepay the reservation fee and attend the event, you will receive a Gift Card in an amount equal to the prepaid reservation fee, which can be redeemed for cash any time after the event or used to purchase merchandise in the store.
