Join Us: An Eveing with Rob Sinskey of Robert Sinskey Vineyards

Join Corkdorks on September 29 for a special tasting with Rob Sinskey of Robert Sinskey Vineyards. Rob took an unexpected path into wine: he studied photography and planned to become a photojournalist before a short assignment helping his father grew into a lifelong commitment to the family winery. Now he’s coming to Nashville to share the wines and the thinking behind them with our guests.

The story begins in Carneros, where Rob’s father, Bob Sinskey, planted the family’s first vineyard with Pinot Noir in mind. Rob and winemaker Jeff Virnig have since built a winegrowing approach centered on organic and biodynamic farming, careful attention to the land, and wines made to be enjoyed with food. From Pinot Noir to expressive whites and reds, the range shows how much character the family finds in its vineyards.

That connection between wine, food, and farming continues at the family’s Wilding Farm in Carneros. Rob envisions a diverse working farm where vineyards, orchards, animals, and natural habitat support healthier soil and shape what grows there. At this tasting, you’ll have the opportunity to explore Robert Sinskey Vineyards through its wines and hear from Rob about the place and ideas behind every glass.
