Cork City Centre Otter Walk
Sat 8 Jun 2024 11:00 - 13:00 IST
Emmet Place, T12 DW6P
Description
Cork Nature Network is delighted to offer a guided walk along the River Lee otter trail in Cork city. Celebrate Harbour Festival by learning about these secretive mammals. The walk will be led by Róisín Murphy. Róisín will talk about otter ecology, the importance of the River Lee for the otters and why we should protect them.
The meeting point will be in front of the Opera House. The whole walk will take around an hour and a half and will finish in Fitzgerald's park. Please allow additional time if you need to make your way back into the city centre after the walk. The walk is fairly easy.
We look forward to seeing you!
Please be advised that a member of Cork Nature Network may take photographs during this event. It is important for us to be able to document the work we do.
