Summer Tea Room Car Parking - Summer 2026 (Weds, Fri & Weekends)

Cornish Lavender is delighted to be re-opening the Cornish Lavender Kitchen for visitors to enjoy our Signature Lavender Cream Teas whilst sat in the beautiful blooming lavender field.

New for 2026, is the introduction of our Lavender Fairy Trail as we are now the home for the Fairy Doors of Malabar and Coosebean from Truro, (relocated to our site after vandalism) thanks to John Rowe and his volunteers.

Many of you will know, we are a smallholding farm near Perranporth, that has diversified into growing, harvesting and producing lavender essential oils (and then making lavender products). We have opened a summer tearoom for the past 5 summer seasons from late May to early August, and continue to do so for 2026.  With the addition of the Fairy Trail, we have had to introduce a car parking system for ALL visitors and we ask our guests to PRE-BOOK parking to guarantee a space, or risk being turned away.  The nominal £2 parking charge allows a 2 hour parking slot, and goes to the upkeep of the car park - guests are also invited to pay a donation as no entry fee is charged. Since opening the lavender fairy trail on weekends from Easter, we have learned a few things about making your visit as enjoyable as possible.  

We recognise the appeal of the Fairy Trail, but are keen to ensure that our longstanding visitors will wish to visit the Summer Tearoom in peak bloom.  Therefore, we have allocated some exclusive tearoom exclusive days of Wednesdays and Friday, and some slots available on Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings.  And these parking slots will be available until Sunday 9th August 2026, when harvesting will be complete.  You are of course, also at liberty to book a car parking slot on other days as part of the Fairy Trail Parking availability, but please be aware that many families will also be on site enjoying the woodland and fairy trail areas.  After 9th August, the car parking booking will combine until the end of the summer holidays and then revert to Fridays and Weekends until October half term. 

As our venue also holds private functions, we recommend you follow our social media pages for the most up to date information on opening hours, so that you are not disappointed when the site is closed for other functions.

Please note the following:

• We operate a no picnic policy - our summer cafe is open and caters for adults and children with healthy lunch and snack options alongside our signature Lavender Cream Teas and homemade cakes, drinks and icecreams from Callestick.
• The parking slot END time is imperative, regardless of your arrival time - as parking is limited.
• The car park is small and there is a steep drive entrance - if you have a choice - please do not bring vans onsite,
• At busy times, we may have to turn guests away until there is space to park safely, with priority given to those who have pre-booked parking.
• As a private venue, there are dates that we will be closed to general public. These dates are listed below with reminders on Social Media
• Please do not walk on the lavender matting, or through the lavender plants, or allow your children ot pets to do so; the lavender is harvested to become our essential oil crop, that in turns makes our products, the primary purpose of our farm.  Photos are permitted in the designated photo area, and children are welcome to play in the lavender maze on the far side of the field.

We have held an Easter Egg Hunt, a Teddy Bear's picnic, and kids crafting workshops which must be booked in advance in addition to the pre-booked car parking.  Please subscribe to our website email newsletter or follow our social media channels as these events sell out very quickly, separately as an add on to your parking ticket.
