As we approach the Winter Solstice come and join us to learn the traditional relief printing method of Linocut. We will teach you about mark making, image transfer, registration and inking and printing your Linocut. 
You will leave the workshop with a completed linocut which you can use again and again to create prints to use on paper, fabric or perhaps to create your own Christmas cards.

The workshop takes place in the original St Ives Arts Club, the venue which set off the whole art scene in St Ives. It is right beside the sea with lovely views over the harbour and you will often experience huge waves crashing against the wall of the building as you create. It’s quite exhilarating.
