Studio drop-in —Self-guided community making
Part of Savina Hopkins/End Credits for a Misaligned World
Saturday 16 August, 6 September, 2:00-4:00 PM - Two of the three planned sessions remain
Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Country correspondences 39 Sydney Road Bulleke-bek (Brunswick) VIC
Audiences are invited to join artist Savina Hopkins and the correspondences' team for self-guided making as part of End Credits for a Misaligned World. Over three sessions, we'll work with found, scavenged, and repurposed objects and materials.
For each session, Savina will bring various materials to experiment with and create with audiences as she develops her new series of assemblages. We’d also love it if guests could please bring a found material or object that they’d like to work with. We're interested in what you share! Drawing materials will also be available for those who prefer to draw, providing an opportunity to think more deeply about the objects and materials in the space.
At community making, our central making table accommodates 10 people at a time. If we're fully booked and at capacity when you arrive, you're welcome to explore the exhibit and grab a stool, clipboard, and some drawing materials while you wait for a space to become available.
Optional pre-work: 📚Please bring one beloved object from home that inspires you, conjures a special memory, or with which you share a special affinity for another reason. We won’t wrap these!
Press the ‘JOIN THE GUEST LIST’ button to RSVP.
Attendance is free. Bookings are essential.
Donations of $5 are gratefully received. These funds help us cover the cost of running and supplying materials for community making. You can also select a ticket with a refreshment to support our work.

Additional notes:
—Making is freestyle and self-guided, but our team is around to answer any questions.
—Please select a ticket with or without a drink as you prefer. Tea and coffee can be purchased upon arrival also.
