Open late — Explaining Relativity with Rebecca Diele / Poetry Circle

Multiple dates-—Friday, 2 October and Friday, 30 October 

During our residencies, on selected Fridays, from 6:30 p.m., we gather at correspondences to explore our latest artist residency exhibit together. Then, we settle down to read or listen to poetry together until 8:00 p.m. Afterwards, you’re welcome to linger until we close at 8:30 pm. We ask our guests to please bring a poem to share/read in whatever language they like. Or, just come to listen. All are welcome - writers of poetry, lovers of poetry and those who might be new to poetry.

For this particular session, we will share some beautiful poems that connect with the project's theme of reverence. That being said, guests are encouraged to bring whatever poetry has been inspiring them lately, too. We are interested in exploring how poetry is making its way into your everyday.

One small request: if you’re ill, please rest and recover at home to help us continue to care for our immunocompromised beloved ones.

—1) Drinks are available for purchase at our events. Just ask one of our friendly team members when you arrive.
—2) We do our best to offer a range of free and low-cost events. For paid events, we also offer a limited number of free tickets to those in need. That being said, donations for our community events are gratefully received. They subsidise our programming activities. We thank you for your support.
