Sonic Ceremony - An Immersion in Sound, A Balm for the Soul - in 3 Acts

For the first time since 2021, Laura Carbone returns to the realm of live performance with her band on Friday, June 14^th, 2024 at Musikbrauerei in Berlin, highlighting the April release of her new double-album “The Cycle” on Cosmic Dreaming Records. 

The event - Sonic Ceremony, An Immersion in Sound – A Balm For the Soul – In Three Acts - will offer the audience an eclectic palette of three distinct and yet intertwined sonic and visual experiences over the course of the evening.

• In the 1st Act, set in Musikbrauerei’s “Säulenhalle” room will welcome the guests with an Opening Ceremony, a meditative sound bath featuring her Alchemy Crystal Bowls and voice.

• The 2nd Act of the performance lasting around half an hour will then see Laura move to a different position in the same room to perform select numbers from “The Cycle” accompanied by members of her band on grand piano, vocals and guitar.

• Following a short break, the audience will then move through to the “Recording Hall” for the evening’s finale: 3rd Act, a set of songs from “The Cycle” and favorites from her back catalog featuring Laura and her full band in their first live performance since 2021.

Laura Carbone’s Sonic Ceremony - An Immersion In Sound – A Balm For The Soul – In Three Acts is a new kind of live sonic experience intended to immerse both audience and artist fully in the beauty of the moment, to reconnect to the physicality and spirituality of their exchange, and for each to reemerge in the end centered, relaxed and nevertheless positively reenergized. 

The unique surround-sound system at Musikbrauerei further complements this aim, enveloping the audience in the full range of sounds and frequencies wherever they are in the room.
