Join us this October at The Queens Hotel in Leeds for the Council of Deans of Health Autumn Conference 2026. This two-day event brings together senior leaders, educators, and partners from across the health sector to explore the Council’s priority workstreams and the key issues shaping health education and practice.

The conference will feature a programme of discussion, insight, and collaboration, including a keynote address from Paul Rees, Chair of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), focusing on the findings and implications of the practice learning review. Sessions across both days will provide opportunities to share learning, reflect on progress, and engage with the Council’s strategic direction.

The second day of the conference will mark Allied Health Professions (AHPs) Day, celebrating the vital contribution of AHPs to healthcare education and research. 

Booking terms and conditions

Demand for this event is expected to be very high so we do recommend booking early to guarantee your place. There is no limit on how many bookings per institution, but you will need to book each person individually. All bookings must be made online and we cannot offer payment by invoice. No VAT is applicable for this event and no VAT invoices will be issued.

Booking confirmation will be sent directly to the delegate's email address. If you need to cancel your place, the cancellation must be received at least 30 days prior to the event to be entitled to a full refund. Alternatively you may choose to send a substitute. If a cancellation is received less than 30 days prior to the date of the event then the full fee is payable; however, a substitute may still be sent up until 7 days prior to the event.

To support networking at this event, sponsors may be provided with a delegate list containing names and organisations only. We do not share delegate contact details, and the list is not used for direct marketing. If you would like to connect with a sponsor, we encourage you to do so during the event or via introductions facilitated by our team.
