Four distinct voices, four unique pieces of chamber music, four composers each defining musical styles and establishing themselves as musical icons of their own time and beyond. Ranging from the operatic transcendence of Carl Maria von Weber’s Trio, to the brio and charm of Stravinsky’s Suite Italienne, to Aaron Copeland’s evocation of the vast west, and the impressionistic brushstrokes of Gaubert’s Three Watercolors, Iconic Voices is a program of depth and elegance.

Playing and performing together since 2016, Leslie Neighbor Stroud, Peter Zay and Matthew Odell enjoy careers individually and together that take them across America and beyond as soloists, chamber music and orchestral musicians. With performances ranging in genre and scope from the essential classical repertory, to musical theatre, multi-media presentations, and traditional fiddle music, they have earned praise from American Record Guide, Gramophone Magazine, the Hartford Courant, The Flutist Quarterly, and The New York Times. The trio of Stroud, Zay and Odell bring to their audiences a vibrant musical experience performed with exuberance and artistry.
