Adult workshop - Kitchen Table Intaligo Printmaking
Join artist and educator Emma Henderson for a relaxed two-hour workshop exploring an accessible, DIY approach to intaglio printmaking using recycled Tetra Pak cartons and a pasta machine turned printing press.
Traditionally, intaglio printmaking relies on specialist studio equipment and heavy presses, but this workshop offers a simple, low-tech alternative that can easily be recreated at home. Participants will learn how to cut, draw, and create texture on recycled cartons before inking and printing their designs using a hand-cranked 'kitchen press.'
Please bring any empty Tetra Pack cartons if you have any but otherwise all materials are provided.
This workshop is designed for adults.

We are piloting paid adult workshops to help subsidise our engagement programme. Your fee for this workshop covers our costs and enables us to continue providing free creative activities for children and young people.
Cove park is a charity and most of our funding for our residencies and engagement workshops is paid by trusts, foundations and individual donors. Creative Scotland currently funds just 29% of our annual costs and individual philanthropy is essential to sustain our work.
Our Saturday Studio programme provides an inspiring environment for self-expression through creative education. Without this engagement initiative, young people in our rural community would not have access to free and consistent creative activity.
