Join Cove Park's Embedded Artist Kenny Glenaan for an immersive workshop connected to the concept of home. Kenny is a theatre maker and filmmaker based in Renfrewshire and developing work in Argyll.

During the workshop you can create a character, form a family, build a home, go on a journey, meet strangers, build a community. Taking the idea of what ‘home’ means this is a two-hour interactive physical theatre workshop for everybody - of all abilities - in which everyone will play everything! Wear old/loose clothes and be prepared to get down and dirty, work with your hands, be painted, roll around, and maybe dance. If you can play a musical instrument/s bring them along, or we will create our own instruments. Plenty of breaks, juice and snacks will be available for the journey.

This workshop is for children and their accompanying adults 

This workshop will run twice throughout the day, please book either:

• The morning session 10am-12pm 
• The afternoon session 2pm-4pm

Cove Park is a charity and most of our funding for our residencies and engagement workshops is paid by trusts, foundations and individual donors. Creative Scotland currently funds just 29% of our annual costs and individual philanthropy is essential to sustain our work.

Our Saturday Studio programme provides an inspiring environment for self-expression through creative education. Without this engagement initiative, young people in our rural community would not have access to free and consistent creative activity.
