CPRE Gloucestershire are excited to announce a new series of engaging training seminars on planning, led by our knowledgeable trustee, David Crofts.

Join us online on Tuesday 1st October (part 1), for an insightful session on planning applications, and again on Tuesday 8th October (part 2), for a deep dive into local plans and appeals. These seminars are designed to empower Parish & Town Councils with the latest information and skills needed to navigate the planning landscape.

Following the two seminars, attendees will be provided with a comprehensive written update clarifying the Government's new intentions as they unfold.

About the presenter

David Crofts retired from paid professional work at the end of 2019 after 45 years in planning: over twenty in local government, fifteen in corporate consultancy and seven as a sole practitioner. In the last role he did much work for CPRE, drafting objections to major planning applications and representing the County Branch at numerous hearings and appeals. Besides preparing these seminars, he is in his role as a Trustee helping to revise the Branch’s Position Statements on various planning topics, has made representations for the Examinations of the Gloucester City and Tewkesbury Borough Plans, and once again is drafting objections to major planning applications.

Pricing

The seminars are discounted to half price for Parish & Town Councils who are CPRE members. Tickets are sold at per person rates, not per council. Please book multiple tickets if required. Please note, the training is run in two parts, with each session a week apart. One ticket provides access for 1 person for the two training sessions.

Training session part 1: Tuesday 1st October, 10.30am-12pm

Training session part 2: Tuesday 8th October, 10.30am-12pm

Online meeting link
