This introductory course equips photographers with the foundational knowledge and workflow needed to produce high-quality prints using the Digital Media Lab’s Epson P800 printers. Participants will explore a variety of paper types, learn how to operate the printer, and gain essential skills in color management (including ICC profiles), resolution, and rendering intents. Paper will be provided up to size 13×19, and participants will leave with their own fine art inkjet prints, as well as the confidence to continue printing independently.

Each participant will receive two complimentary paper sample packs courtesy of our generous sponsors, Ilford and Moab Paper. If you want to use specific paper not provided, please bring your own. No larger than 13×19 for this class.

This course will utilize CPW's Epson p800's, but the concepts learned can be adapted to other desktop inkjet printers as well.
