Polaroid Lifts with Rule of Thirds

For July’s Photo Club, we will be joined by Rule of Thirds–a collectively-run photography studio, gallery, and community space based in New Paltz. The group will lead a hands-on Polaroid lift workshop. Participants will learn how to transfer their Polaroids to paper, and transform their images into unique prints.

About Rule of Thirds:
Rule of Thirds is a photography studio, gallery, and community space located in New Paltz, New York. Founded by photographers Ryan Kraus, Allison O’Connor, and Seth Jones, the studio was created to provide a dedicated space for photographers to create, exhibit, and discuss their work. Rule of Thirds hosts exhibitions, artist talks, workshops, and monthly photo club meetings, helping to connect photographers of all experience levels throughout the Hudson Valley. The studio is built on the belief that photography thrives through community, collaboration, and the sharing of ideas, making it an approachable and welcoming space for both emerging and established artists.
