This introductory workshop will give participants an opportunity to print and frame a photograph, exploring the multitude of decisions that impact the expression of their image as it becomes an object on a wall. Each photographer will learn how to build a standard museum frame, and learn the traditional craft of matting, mounting, and fitting prints for the frame. The workshop is designed to give artists the experience of framing a work along with an understanding of options available within the framing process, enabling them to more effectively articulate their vision while working with professional framers or in some cases forgoing the expense of outsourced framing altogether.

WHAT TO BRING: 2-3 digital images ready for print.
