Drawing With Roots: Online Wheatgrass Workshop

Join me for a live online workshop on creating root-based designs using grass seed.

In this session, I’ll guide you through an introductory version of my root-growing process, showing how grass seeds can be set up, grown and directed to create designs over time. We’ll go through the materials, the basic setup, how to prepare your growing surface, and how to care for the piece after the session.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and anyone interested in biodesign, material experimentation, regenerative design, growing processes, or working with plants as part of a creative practice. You do not need previous experience with growing, gardening or design.

Because this is a growing process, your design will continue to develop after the workshop. I’ll explain how to look after it, what to expect as it grows, and how to document the result.
