Listening to Fatigue: Supporting Clients with Chronic Energy Depletion with Rebecca Rodford

Sat 7 Nov 2026 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM Winchester Royal Hotel, SO23 8BS

A CPD Workshop for Postgraduate Craniosacral Therapists

A focused half-day CPD workshop for postgraduate craniosacral therapists wishing to deepen their understanding, practical skills and clinical sensitivity in working with clients experiencing depletion from chronic fatigue/ME, fibromyalgia and thyroid imbalances.

Together, we will explore the key underlying patterns that often shape these complex fatigue-inducing conditions, from first a medical perspective and then through the lens of traditional knowledge, energetic understanding, and insights from complementary health modalities.

The workshop offers a grounded, compassionate framework for working safely and ethically with highly sensitive, depleted, or fragile systems.

You will explore key anatomical and endocrine areas of focus, including the impact of nervous system capacity and hypersensitivity on burnout, and other low-energy states. We’ll also learn gentle, adapted approaches to treatment, and develop greater awareness around pacing, resonance and boundaries, and practitioner self-care.

You will gain:

  • A clearer understanding of fatigue-related conditions in clinical practice
  • Integration of safe, adapted craniosacral approaches for fragile systems
  • Insight into therapeutic pacing, boundaries, and sustainable self-care in fatigue-focused practice

Join us for an optional lunch together afterwards (not included in cost).

About Rebecca Rodford

Rebecca runs her Craniosacral Therapy practice clinics in Hampshire, bringing together a thoughtful clinical approach, a background in social anthropology and communications, and a never-ending interest in ongoing research. Her work is shaped by both professional study and personal experience of fatigue-related conditions, giving her a nuanced understanding of the physical and emotional complexities of chronic energy depletion.

Rebecca is passionate about supporting practitioners to work in ways that are grounded, reflective, and ethically sound. She believes that effective care for people experiencing fatigue requires not only knowledge of physiology and nervous system awareness, but also a trauma-informed approach that recognises the lived experience of illness, honours individual capacity, and prioritises safety, consent, and compassionate practice.

Through her teaching, Rebecca aims to help practitioners develop confidence in working with fatigue presentations while remaining curious, evidence-aware, and firmly rooted in ethical, person-centred care.
