Let's Cook with a Purpose On March 30, 2025, Crawfish Cookin’ for a Cause, a 501c3 charitable organization supporting local families affected by catastrophic illness, will hold its 14th annual fundraising event. Over the years, thousands of community members have turned out, had a great time, and made a difference.

Online ticket sales close Saturday, March 29, 2025 at MIDNIGHT!

No outside food or drink, ice chests, tables or tents will be permitted inside the event. All crawfish must be consumed on premises (no "crawfish to go"). Blankets and folding/festival chairs are permitted. The event is rain or shine. No refunds will be given.

EVENT BENEFICIARIES

Hark-ALS, Inc.

HARK provides assistance to alleviate the financial burdens faced by families battling ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). 

The event began to support Beth Crutcher Giacone a 52 year old mother to 25 year old Joshua. She has suffered with ALS since her son was two years old. Beth is a native of Covington and graduated from Mandeville High in 1991. Hark ALS, Inc. has helped Beth and her family with the financial burden this terrible disease has placed upon them, with round the clock care not covered by insurance, estimated to be $55,000 per year.

Grant's Gift Foundation
Our primary purpose is to provide a network of resources in order to improve the lives of individuals with special needs, with a primary focus on underprivileged and disabled children, so that they can grow and prosper in order to reach their fullest potential. Grant’s Gift Foundation was formed by a group of friends who decided that they could make a difference in the lives of children with special needs in South Louisiana, specifically in St. Tammany Parish. For 2025, we’re committed to exceeding our goal, by raising more than $60,000. We can get there, but we need your help.
