'Christmas Cracker' : St Austell Players
Multiple dates and times
Online, Zoom
Description
After nearly twelve months of no performances, St Austell Players are going digital!
Join us on Friday 11th and Tuesday 15th of December as we celebrate Theatre in the ‘New Normal’ this Christmas. Our Christmas Cracker is fit to burst with an eclectic mix of monologues and duologues from both past and present.
From Shakespeare and Oscar Wilde to original poems and Politically Correct Trafalgar there’s a little something to whet everyone’s theatrical appetite.
Featuring original monologues from the pen of RSC’s Michael Corbidge - the hilarious Lockdown inspired ‘A Gentle Exchange of Cucumbers’ and a study of a pathologically late actress in ‘Tick’, this Cracker is all set to start Christmas 2020 off with a bang.
Each ticket purchased will afford audiences access to both evenings so you can choose to watch on the 11th or 15th, or even enjoy these cracking (see what we did there?) performances TWICE from the comfort of your own sofa!
Nearer the event date, you will be emailed your own unique Login for a ‘Zoom’ meeting on the Internet, along with a full list of performances.
In our 75th anniversary year our Theatre may be closed but you can’t keep good AmDram down – here’s to celebrating another 75 years of Theatre in Cornwall.
