Love trains, nature and making a difference? Come and join us!

Volunteer Sparks is a friendly supported volunteering group for neurodivergent young people and adults aged 12 years and over. Together we'll travel by train to beautiful Looe, help care for the station, then enjoy some free time exploring lovely Looe 

Whether you're looking to build confidence, gain volunteering experience, make friends or simply enjoy a day out by the coast, everyone is welcome.

What we'll be doing

🚆 Travel together by train from Plymouth (or meet us in Looe)

🌼 Caring for station planters .

🗑️ Litter picking and helping keep the station looking beautiful

🌿 Supporting wildlife and the local environment

🏖️ Enjoying some free time in Looe after our volunteering session

9:30am – 4:00pm

 Meet at Plymouth Railway Station or join us in Looe (by prior arrangement)

Who is it for?

Our Volunteer Sparks programme is designed for neurodivergent young people and adults aged 12+ who would enjoy practical outdoor activities, trains, nature and meeting like-minded people in a supportive environment.

No previous volunteering experience is needed.

Adults who wish to become regular Friends of Looe Station volunteers will be supported to complete the free Great Western Railway Volunteer Safety Training.

Spaces are limited to keep groups small and supportive.

This booking requires a full consent and information form which includes a full safety briefing to be completed . This will be emailed to you upon booking and must be returned before the event date. If we have queries or you have not booked with us previously we will call you prior to the event.  If you require carers in addition to those provided by CCSW they will not be charged but you will be liable for their train travel costs.
