Creative Glasgow is Launching! We’re here to connect, champion, and celebrate creative practitioners across Greater Glasgow.
We are beyond excited to announce that our Launch Party is officially SOLD OUT, and we couldn’t be more thrilled! It’s going to be an unforgettable night, and we’re so grateful to everyone who’s secured their spot. We can’t wait to celebrate with Glasgow’s vibrant and ever-evolving creative community!
If you’ve got tickets but can no longer attend, don’t worry! Simply email admin@creativeglasgow.co.uk to return your ticket, and we’ll make sure it finds a new home, giving someone else the chance to join in on the fun.

Chris Yeoh from Glasgow Zine Library on the power of zines for community building
Greg Shearer with a spoken word performance on working-class life
Freya NicLeòid from Lateral North on blending digital tech with physical spaces
Loa Pour Mirza on collage-making as a radical creative toolRobert Thomas James Mills with an exploration of time, space, and imaginationPlus! Glasgow Zine Library and The Bold Collective will be facilitating a drop-in creative mapping and zine-making activity throughout the evening: a hands-on way to bring to life who’s in the room.
To top it all off, we’ve got the perfect soundtrack for the night! Glasgow DJs Junglehussi & Phil from HEALTHY – two of the city’s best-loved party starters – will be playing us out with their after party vibes!

Getting there:
Civic House is easily accessible by public transport
We highly recommend guests do not drive as on-street parking is limited and metered
The venue is is a 2min walk from Cowcaddens Underground Station
You can walk from Glasgow’s Central Station (train) in 20minutes
Bus numbers 60 / 60A / 61 / 7 / 7A / 75 all stop nearby
Access information for guests:
This event is free to attend
Drinks, Light refreshments and simple canapes will be served between 6 and 7pm. Alcohol free, Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten Free options will be available.
Civic House is a welcoming and flexible space
There is an accessible toilet on the same level as the event. And gender-neutral toilets for all guests
NOTE: The venue entrance is not step-free - there are four steps to enter the building.
The event will be interpreted in British Sign Language (BSL).
On arrival you will be welcomed by a member of the Creative Glasgow team, and our team will be on hand to assist you throughout the night
Chairs are provided for all guests, and the presentations and Lightning Night programme will be seated.
Chairs can easily be removed for wheelchair access
Seating will be reserved in the front two rows for anyone who requests it.
