Last Thursday: Member Meet Up
Thu 27 Feb 2025 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Third Eye Bar, CCA (Scott Street entrance), G2 3JD
Description
Our members told us they wanted MORE IN-PERSON NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES! You spoke and we listened. We’re bringing our regular monthly members’ meet-up out into the city…
This February we’re meeting in CCA’s Third Eye Bar, and we’ll be spotlighting the creative and cultural work taking place along Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow’s City Centre.
Come along to meet with creative practitioners, artists, creative organisations and businesses across Greater Glasgow. Share your work, and promote any upcoming events, activities, resources or opportunities. Hear from the Creative Glasgow team about upcoming programmed events and how to contribute, and ask us any questions you may have. Third Eye Bar will be serving hot and cold drinks to help fuel our discussions.
This event is free - all welcome.
Spotlight presentations for February’s event include:
CCA’s team will share their re-opening plans and upcoming programme for 2025. CCA is a not-for-profit, multi-purpose, centre for contemporary art and culture located in the city centre of Glasgow.
/BUZZCUT// is an organisation dedicated to creating exciting, supportive environments for artists and audiences to experiment with live performance. Director Karl Taylor will be sharing their festival programme for 2025, running April to May this year.
We’ll be joined by some of the team working on the Sauchiehall Street Culture and Heritage District project. Hear about their work to uncover Sauchiehall Street’s history, animate and renew the street, working with artists and creative practitioners, local businesses and residents.
We’ll also feature 2-3 of our members who will get the chance to present their work. If you’d like to present in February or at a Last Thursday event later this year reach out to programme@creativeglasgow.co.uk
