Developing Creative Lives and Livelihoods in Glasgow
How are artists and creative practitioners in Glasgow learning to develop, sustain and grow their work and hone their skills? Where do they go for support, guidance and professional development?
This day-long showcase event brings together projects, initiatives and individuals contributing to the creative education, training and professional development ecology in the city. It reflects our aspiration to actively contribute to our members’ needs in this area, by supporting, augmenting, and promoting good practice. We’re committed to responding to gaps in provision and barriers to uptake for marginalised or excluded creatives.
Tickets cost £18 / £12 concession. for anyone unwaged / precariously employed.
50% of ticket income from this event will be donated to a SOUP pitch winner during the lunch break. Refreshments and lunch provided for all attendees.
A small number of supported bursary places are available for those who have additional costs or barriers to attending. These free supported places can also claim expenses such as travel and care costs. Contact admin@creativeglasgow.co.uk to request a bursary place.
A quiet breakout space will be available for those who request it.
