Creative Glasgow presents PITCH POT!

Join us for a celebratory evening of creative networking and food, as our members present ideas for how to strengthen Glasgow's visitor economy through the arts and creative industries... 

PLUS you'll get to VOTE on what two creative projects and ideas should get funded!

PITCH POT is Creative Glasgow’s new event series helping members launch creative products, services and business ideas. This event series will support awareness raising, promotion, mentoring and signposting, and provide two pitches with microgrants to help realise their ambitions. 

This special edition focuses on supporting Glasgow's creative and cultural practitioners to meet the needs of the city's growing visitor economy, including:

• Tourism: Creating authentic cultural experiences for visitors to the city.

• Promotion: Showcasing Glasgow as a vibrant cultural destination to new audiences and markets.

• Community Wealth Building: Ensuring local creative practitioners and businesses based in the city profit directly from tourism spending.

Building on the success of our Creative SOUP events in 2025, we’re partnering with Glasgow City Council’s Economic Development Dept to offer up to eight of our members the opportunity to pitch their ideas in this supportive and encouraging event - two pitches will receive microgrants to help realise their ideas!

Guests will gather for a simple meal, network with creatives, listen to the pitches, ask questions, and vote on who they think should be supported to take their ideas further. All those pitching have been receiving guidance and support in the lead up to the Pitch Pot event, and they will have ongoing 1-2-1 support, advice, signposting, and mentoring for up to four months afterwards.

Each Ticket will get you:

Food & refreshments on arrival, and 1 VOTE to cast.

A share of the ticket income raised will go into the Pitch Pot, alongside a contribution from Glasgow City Council. Two pitches will be awarded microgrants, with an estimated value of £1000 and £500*, to help realise their creative ambitions. Ticket buyers will be directly contributing to the development of the creative and cultural sectors in the city!

*Final value dependent on number of tickets sold.

6pm Event Opens - refreshments and food served on arrival

6.30pm Welcome and introductions from Creative Glasgow's Team

6.45pm The Pitches - you'll hear up to 8 short pitches on the night!

8.00pm The Vote - each guest will get 1 vote to cast

8.30pm Winners announced - two pitches will receive a share of the "Pitch Pot" raised

The Pitch Pot event takes place in The Atrium and The Black Room within The Boardwalk, 105 Brunswick Street, Glasgow, G1 1TF.

There is lift access into the venue, and level access throughout once inside. The pitching event is seated.
